We are excited to announce that Tanya Field, CPO and co-founder of Novatiq, has won SILVER in the AWS Startup Founder of the Year award! Tanya was selected from a group of finalists who demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation, both in disrupting their industry and taking their startups to new heights.
Novatiq, raising the bar for adtech
For those who don’t know, Tanya is a digital transformation and telco veteran, and a recognised expert on data privacy. In 2019, with the death knell already sounding for tracking cookies, she saw an opportunity to leverage the power of the telco network as a way for publishers, advertisers and brands to identify audiences, rather than the browser.
Telcos are ideally placed to offer verified identity services since they have a trusted relationship with customers. Their independence from the advertising sector makes them an ideal source of user verification and protecting customer privacy has always been the priority of a telco business. Plus, telcos can verify ‘ghost users’ better than any other ID solution. This unique ability delivers significant scale, which is a game-changer for both the sell-side and the buy-side of the advertising ecosystem.
Innovation is a team effort
Good ideas are nothing without great execution, and the Novatiq team is a testament to that. Together, we’ve created a company that is making a real impact in the adtech industry.
We also want to give a shout-out to AWS. Novatiq has undergone a massive transformation of its tech stack and infrastructure over the past year, made possible by our partnership with AWS and its ‘Marketplace Startup Program’ partners. These collaborations have allowed us to achieve game-changing results, both in terms of the scale, speed, and go-to-market capabilities of our ID products, and as a foundation for our own impressive growth.
Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve achieved:
- We’re currently live with three telco partners – Turkey, UAE and Japan and, by the end of this year, our revolutionary ID solution will be available in key European markets as well. This means our ID solutions will start to become the defacto standard for verified IDs
- We’re rapidly scaling up and expanding our already – impressive roster of international agencies (Omnicom, Publicis, Group M) and leading brands (HSBC, Nissan, Mastercard)
- Our Asia partner, Supership Inc., recently announced the launch of their next-generation digital ad distribution platform utilising our technology, creating the first privacy-safe, end-to-end solution in the Asian advertising market
- We’ve secured sign-off from various government ministries and data protection agencies for the revolutionary privacy-first approach to the delivery of digital IDs.
